How this works
Add photos. Each image becomes one PDF page. Rotate it, reorder pages, and pick an enhancement per page.
B&W scan analyses your photo's brightness histogram and picks the ideal cut-off automatically (Otsu's method), turning grey, shadowy phone photos into crisp black text on a white background — like an office scanner. Use the brightness fine-tune if the result looks too heavy or too faint; it is applied before the threshold.
High contrast converts to grayscale and stretches the levels between the 2nd and 98th brightness percentiles, which lifts washed-out photos without losing detail.
The PDF is assembled right here in your browser, byte by byte (PDF 1.4 with JPEG-compressed pages). No upload, no server, no account — closing the tab discards everything.
Note: pages are processed at full photo resolution for the PDF, while previews are downscaled to stay fast. Extremely large photos (above roughly 40 megapixels) are gently reduced to protect your device's memory.
Tip: for best results, lay the document flat, fill the frame, and avoid your own shadow across the page.
Free to use. The size shown is an estimate; the exact figure appears once the PDF is built. Nothing is uploaded.
