SACCO Loan & Dividend Calculator

Two things every SACCO member asks: what will my loan cost me, and what will I earn? Work out a loan repayment — reducing-balance or flat rate — and estimate your dividends on shares and interest on deposits.

Reducing balance charges interest only on the outstanding amount — most Kenyan SACCOs use this (often quoted as 1% per month = 12% a year). Flat rate charges interest on the full principal for the whole term, so it costs more. Guidance only — confirm your SACCO's exact terms.

Two different payouts. SACCOs pay a dividend on your share capital and interest (a rebate) on your deposits — usually at different rates, declared at the AGM. This estimates both from the rates you enter; your actual rates come from your SACCO's declaration.
