Step by step
- Apply on eCitizen (Immigration). Open the Directorate of Immigration Services on eCitizen (dis.ecitizen.go.ke) and complete the passport application (Form 19).
- Upload documents and pay. Upload the required documents and pay the fee for your chosen booklet size; you'll receive payment invoices.
- Book your appointment. Choose a passport processing centre (Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru or a designated Huduma Centre) and a date.
- Attend for biometrics. Bring the original documents. Your photo and fingerprints are captured and your documents verified.
- Collect when ready. The service charter says about 14 working days after biometrics; collect from your chosen centre. Real times can be longer.
