A. Registration (get your TSC number first)

2Pay the non-refundable ~KSh 1,050 (now via eCitizen).
3Scan each document individually (each ≤1MB): National ID, KRA PIN, passport photo, academic certificates (KCSE + college), professional certificate, Certificate of Good Conduct, GP69 medical form, payment reference.
4Wait for feedback (~30 days); the certificate is posted to you.

B. Recruitment (apply for an advertised job)

Portal: tsc.go.ke → Careers. Applications are ONLINE only, against a specific advert number.
Typical eligibility: Kenyan citizen; minimum Diploma in Education (Degree for some posts); KCSE C+ overall and C+ in two teaching subjects; already TSC-registered; currently unemployed.
Bring to verification: originals of ALL academic/professional certificates, ID, and TSC certificate.

⚠️ TSC advert windows change every round — always confirm the current opening/closing dates and vacancy numbers on tsc.go.ke. Never pay anyone who “guarantees” a posting.

Common mistakes to avoid

Confusing registration with recruitment — you must be registered before you can be recruited.
Uploading documents over 1MB or as one merged file when each must be separate.
Paying a tout who “guarantees” a TSC posting — TSC never works that way.
