The Settings tab holds your business name, the pay period and the default daily rate, which pre-fills for each worker (you can override it per person for a different skill or task). On the Muster Roll you add each worker and their days worked; gross pay, net pay after advances and the running totals fill in automatically.
The Dashboard totals the number of workers, total days, the full wage bill, total advances and the net to pay — the figure you need to have ready on pay day. The formulas are locked and only the yellow cells accept typing, so the roll can be handled by anyone without breaking the maths, and printed for signatures.
For workers on a regular payroll — with PAYE, NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy — use the free Payslip Generator or the Kenya Payroll & PAYE template instead; those handle the statutory deductions casuals normally fall outside.
