On the Setup tab you enter your school name, term, year and class once, and confirm the grading scale (it ships with a standard Kenyan band, and you can edit any band if your school differs). On Marks Entry you add each learner and type their mark out of 100 for each subject. Total, mean, grade, points and position all compute themselves, and a mean below your pass mark turns red so weak results stand out.
The Report Card tab is the payoff: pick a learner from the dropdown and a clean one-page card fills in with every subject mark, its grade and remark, the mean, the position out of the class and an attendance summary, with space for the class-teacher and head-teacher comments. Yellow cells are the only ones you type in; the rest are locked formulas. It opens in Excel, WPS Office or Google Sheets, so you can mark from a phone.
